Release: Karhu "Rally" Pack

Finnish sneaker brand Karhu is dropping new colorways with rally car-inspired sneakers. The ''Rally" Pack will be available in-store and online at DIV. Amsterdam, this Friday (August 16th). Read more about the release and browse the images below. 

In the mid-1980s, Karhu sponsored a Ford Escort driven by famous rally world champion Carlos Sainz Sr. who was the first non-Nordic driver to win the 1000 Lakes Rally in Finland. Nicknamed “El Matador,” Sainz held the World Rally Championship record for most career starts until it was broken by Finnish driver Jari-Matti Latvala. The racecar driven by Sainz at the famous Calafat Circuit inspires the “Rally” Pack concept. The colorways are linked to the car’s paint, decals and suits of rally drivers. Each shoe is a mix of soft dyed panels in pigskin suede and water repellent nylon mesh. The Aria 95s lycra elastic mono sock provides support and slip on like comfort. The asymmetrical lace across the Synchron Classic gives it not only support, but also an iconic look.
